“When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.”. Albert Einstein, 1879-1955

As a student entering my final year to obtain my RTC designation (through Clearmind International), I bring
multiple skills to ACCT.

30 years of business experience focused on public relations, communications, marketing, social responsibility, employee engagement, event planning, media relations and crisis/issues management. My firm, Vocal Point Communications was founded in 1992, servicing clients in business, retail, not-for-profit, government, sports, wellness, public speaking/grooming and A&E. I was graced with several awards, including the Canadian Mentor of the Year with CPRS (Canadian Public Relations Society), where I trained high-level practitioners in an intense accreditation program. I’ve been a volunteer assistant for transpersonal workshops since 2007-2014, co-chaired a weekly therapeutic support group in Victoria BC and facilitated holotropic breathwork workshops in Victoria and
Vancouver.

Teaching post-secondary since 1995 is another passion, where I’ve learned so much about compassion, listening and inspiring others to find their true potential. My vision is to open a boutique counselling practice that specializes in life coaching, relationship counselling, teaching this work to the world and facilitating workshops.

I’m committed to using this work to help others, as others have helped throughout the years. Giving back to the counselling community is integral to who I am and why this work is so important.
