"We've learned to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life, not life to the years. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." ~ George Carlin

As a therapist, I see myself as an adventure guide of the soul. I am fascinated by what allows us to feel more alive and look for what gets in our way to express ourselves freely and fulfill our dreams. With a gentle sense of compassion and curiosity, I strive to bring wonder and hope to our darkest places. When we can trust that we will be seen, heard and accepted in our most vulnerable parts, we develop the safety that allows us to fully be ourselves.

All my life I tried not to become a therapist. What a joy it is to finally find my way home! Prior to this career, I have been successful in medical research, and in supporting academic research with patenting, licensing and other business development activities. I have been a stay-at-home Mom and my kids are currently in elementary school. I have a big heart for nature, tennis, music and poetry.

To ACCT I bring dedication to the counselling profession, a lot of experience with education, and excitement to be working with this team. On the ACCT Board, I will be supporting and expanding our access to Professional Development within the therapeutic field.
